A: No. Sighthound Redactor processes and stores all of the videos and redaction data on your computer or server and does not send any of it externally to Sighthound. License activation and verification does require an internet connection, but the only data sent to our licensing server is your serial number, product name, unique machine identifier, and a “reason” number. No external services or resources are needed to redact.
The only time you might share videos is when requesting support from within the application. Users can choose to attach the Redactor log files and/or a video they’re having trouble with – both of which are optional.
